stiffness in the morning

My morning exercises are as important to me as coffee for breakfast. Without extensive stretching and stretching in the morning, I can set the clock to when the first off phase begins.

back pain

My daily companion. Whether they are a symptom of Parkinson's or stem from my mostly sedentary job, they are suddenly there, robbing me of my mobility and my good mood. Forget about ibuprofen and voltaren. One exchanges my back pain for a stomach ache, the other is better for the manufacturer's sales statistics than my back. But fortunately I have Gaby and Silke, who are at my side reliably at least for prevention up to 3 times a week.

Balance

That was probably it with honey moon phase. More and more often I get stuck on something, sway, balance on one leg, can no longer stand on one leg with my bike and keep the other foot on the pedal, trip when I have to hurry (greeting to the Horn if I don't get off the crosswalk fast enough). Most of you will have many more items to add to the list. Me too, but let it suffice here.

stiff fingers

As if it wasn't annoying enough that I can no longer read my own handwriting. Having only practiced using the 4-finger system, I find it increasingly difficult to hit the letters on the keyboard. I've been busy writing for as long as I've been correcting my texts. But fortunately there are exercises that counteract this or at least slow down the process of deterioration significantly.

strength and endurance

Strength and endurance at home is a topic in itself. What have I already tried? Ergometer in front of the TV and watched bike tours filmed with a helmet camera, 30 min ergometer and at the same time watch the quiz shows at 18 p.m., put the ergometer on the balcony - it didn't do anything. I remain true to my prejudice: Few things are more boring than an ergometer. I like the Smovey workouts much better - they train endurance and strength at the same time and the music makes them fun too. By the way, I don't use Smoveys, they were too expensive for me. Instead, I train with two 2 kg dumbbells. But I would almost bet that my kids will give me Smoveys for my birthday ;-)
