"My name is David and I'm 24 years old. I'm studying sports journalism at the German Sport University in Cologne. In January 2023, a member of my close family was diagnosed with Parkinson's. It fills me with great gratitude that there are initiatives like the Parkinson Journal, which help to educate those affected and their families about the disease. For this reason, I would like to get involved in this valuable project."
Nikolai is responsible for the newsletter and helps us to find sponsors, because without them there would be no Parkinson's Journal.
I'm Nikolai (24) and I'm studying sports management and communication at the German Sport University in Cologne. When a family member fell ill, I experienced first-hand how much Parkinson's can affect the lives of those affected. I consider the Parkinson's Journal to be an important and necessary institution for patients and their families to provide information about how to deal with this disease. Working for the journal makes me feel like I'm making a meaningful contribution to our society.
