A new exercise every week

Today Thai Chi, Module 1

compiled by Jurgen Zender

Tai Chi, also called Tai Chi Chuan, is a traditional Chinese art of movement based on gentle and flowing movements. It is a holistic practice that connects body, mind and breath. Tai Chi is practiced both as a martial art and as a method to promote health, relaxation and inner balance. Movements are slow and controlled while paying attention to breathing and body alignment. Tai Chi improves posture, improves flexibility, strengthens muscles and promotes relaxation. It is practiced by people of all ages and fitness levels and can be viewed as both active exercise and meditation.
