I'm increasingly feeling like the Parkinson's community lives in its own bubble.
In order to get more attention for our illness we have to actively go outside.
The problem is that many young people in particular do not dare to make their Parkinson's disease public.
Professional disadvantages, job loss, siding all understandable arguments.
Nevertheless, something has to change, otherwise nothing will change for us.
The public isn't informed enough about what's actually going on.
Before I fell ill, even I, as a pharmacist, was not aware of the extent. An appeal to everyone. Please draw more attention to us and our challenges.
