World Parkinson's Day
On the occasion of World Parkinson's Day, the Parkinson Foundation and the German Parkinson Society on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, together with partners and supporters, a digital information day to draw attention to the situation of those affected and to discuss concrete approaches in therapy and research.
This year, the focus is, among other things, on the topic “Parkinson’s and nutrition”. How important is the topic of nutrition and what role can cooking and eating play in everyday life? And what is the “Mediterranean diet” all about? Look forward to exciting tips, valuable information and a contribution from comedian Markus Maria Profitlich!
As in the previous year, experts from medicine will then present various topics in entertaining lectures and explain current research approaches in discussions. We look forward to your questions!
Also in the programme: people who are involved in the fight against Parkinson's, and in conversation with the ambassador of the Parkinson's Foundation, Frank Elstner, show how they master their lives - in terms of health, work and personally.
