Update.

Main topic 2024: Technology-assisted treatment strategies – current practice and future perspectives
In recent years, numerous new technological processes have been developed that are intended to facilitate the early detection, differential diagnosis and therapy of movement disorders in the future, such as new laboratory medical methods, innovative imaging procedures and wearable sensors. However, the multitude of technological innovations also presents us with a number of challenges and important questions: How reliable are the technical processes at this point in time? Are the technological innovations really ready for use in clinical practice? What do supply structures have to look like in the future in order to be able to use new technologies on a broad scale efficiently, in a time-saving and cost-covering manner? These and other questions will be discussed in the main topic “Technology-assisted treatment strategies – current practice and future perspectives” discussed.

Technical update across the entire spectrum of Parkinson's research and medicine
Even outside of the main topic, after the end of the corona pandemic, the only German-language congress for Parkinson's and movement disorders finally offers you doctors and scientists as well as nursing staff and therapists the opportunity to find out more about the latest state of research and diagnostics on site and therapy for movement disorders and to exchange information directly with national and international experts. Numerous Hands-on courses They also offer the opportunity to expand your practical skills under the guidance of qualified specialists and discover new things for yourself.

The German Congress for Parkinson's and Movement Disorders is also expressly aimed at representatives of specialized care and activating therapies, especially Parkinson's nurses.
