The issue of falls is important in all stages of Parkinson's disease. The major role that falls play in the course of the disease has long been scientifically proven. A fall can result in injuries such as fractures and head wounds, which can negatively impact mobility, mood, and cognition. In addition, there is often a fear of falling, which unfavorably increases the effect.
The good news is that falls can be prevented. There are specific behaviors that have been proven to significantly reduce the risk of falling. And you, as a family member, can encourage these behaviors.
It is ideal to begin fall prevention before there is an acute risk of falling. If you want to find out how you can help your loved one while staying relaxed yourself, join the webinar!

This webinar is for you if you...

  • are a relative of someone diagnosed with Parkinson's disease.
  • are worried about the future of the person concerned.
  • you want to actively do something to prevent falls.
  • you don't know how to react when the sick person freezes
  • you want techniques to be better prepared.
