I got to know Thorsten there and we hit it off right away. Thorsten works as an event manager and helps his customers to realize their dreams.
But in his private life, too, since his Parkinson's diagnosis, he has been looking for his own dreams and wishes, which he no longer wants to postpone.

Episode 34 - Stay creative with Parkinson's with Sophia Plöchl

I recently had a really great conversation with Sophia Plöchl. She comes from Austria and she is a woman with a wide range of interests and talents.
Today's episode is about a variety of topics, such as photography or book writing. But we also talk about depression - as an often underestimated symptom of the disease and we share our own experiences and ways we found our way back to life.
Another focus of this episode is how valuable it can be to look for and find new fields of activity in our lives. So I wish you a lot of fun with Sophia and our joint interview.

Welcome to my Podcast and to this special English episode. in my podcast I want to share positive stories about life with Parkinson's Disease and so I talk to many inspiring people with exciting life stories who manage to enjoy their lives - despite Parkinson's.
Usually this podcast is in German language but today there is a special episode for my English speaking friends who I had the pleasure to meet at the PngPongParkinson German Open in Nordhorn in early September this year. People from 12 nations took part the tournament and despite Parkinson's, they were fantastic table tennis players and spread a lot of passion, joy and enthusiasm. This episode is about PingPong Parkinson - a worldwide movement that offers table tennis for people with Parkinson's disease. Playing table tennis can help improve symptoms and slow down progression. Believe me, after listening to this episode you will want to play table tennis too.
